This theme focuses on acknowledging and celebrating the courage of the women, non-binary and gender diverse people in our Victorian community as they continue supporting each other through the COVID-19 pandemic, even when structural systems fail. Our community is courageous in reaching out to WIRE and sharing their stories. We see the structural barriers that confront people as well as the strength and resourcefulness of service users as they tackle these barriers and explore options for themselves and their families. We are honoured to be part of so many people’s fight for something better.
